Mike Crum

Mike Crum is one of the more recognizable figures in professional skateboarding. Probably it his style or his unusual moniker in the professional circuit: Flying Pretzel. Crum was born on the 10th of December in the year 1973. He stands at six feet and one inch and weighs a stable one hundred fifty pounds. The man was born in the Lone Star state of Texas, specifically in Dallas.

Mike currently lives in Long Beach in the state of California. To date, he remains unmarried. He has been participating as an amateur skater since the year 1984 and joined the professional circuit six years later, in the year 1990.

As was expected, Crum would be with his partner-in-crime, R. Glifberg for Vert Doubles- the 4th time in a series. Historically, Crum remains one of the original pro skaters of the Vert discipline in the X Games, winning medals in three notable years: 1999, 2001 and 2002.

In an interview, Mike Crum sheds light on his choice of partner in the challenging Vert discipline in the X Games. According to Crum, Rune and he have always been skating together. But as for the practice for the Doubles at the X Games? He says, ten minutes is enough- and this happens only once a year.

Mike has been competitor in the X Games for a long time, and here is a partial list of the competitions he was on:

• WCS in the year 2002, finishing at rank 21 • Gravity Games in the year 2002, finishing at rank 18 • Vans Triple Crown in the year 2003, finishing at rank 25 • X Games in the Summer, in the year 2002, finishing at rank 3
