Rick McCrank doesn’t always compete in skateboarding competitions, but when he does, his fans can always count on him to showcase only his best. McCrank, also referred to as “McKrills,” has been skateboarding since he was 11 years old in Peterborough. McCrank’s career first started to take off when he was asked to join the Plan B Skateboards team, a company founded by Danny Way, Steve Rocco and Mike Ternansky.

He was also asked to join Birdhouse, a skating company owned by Tony Hawk, although he stayed with the company for only a short time. He participated in “The End,” a film produced by Birdhouse. He is currently affiliated with és footwear, for which he has also created shoe designs.

McCrank runs and owns Momentum Wheels. He is also part owner of Anti-Social, a skating shop and art gallery in Canada. When he is not competing in skateboarding competitions, he likes to spend time with his daughter, as well as make videos. He also likes to go golfing, surfing and snowboarding.

McCrank was born in Ontario, Canada on January 23, 1976. He stands at 5 feet, ten inches and tips the scales at 145 pounds.
