Rodolfo Ramos, a Brazilian national, has been skating since 1988 and turned pro in 2001. The year 2006 proved to be an exciting year for Ramos as he started to make his mark on the skateboarding industry. It was during this year that he got first place at the LG Action Sports World Championships held in Dallas, Texas. He earned third place during the AST Dew Tour in Denver, Colorado.
He remains a strong contender in 2007 as he won the gold medal in the Street competition of the LG World Championships. His efforts at the Shanghai Showdown in China also earned him first place in the Street category. This year. Ramos also participated in the AST Dew Tour in Salt Lake City where he placed second, this time in the Park discipline.
Ramos was born in Cascavel, Brazil on July 6, 1984 but he currently lives in Florianopolis, which he states, is his favorite city. He stands 5 feet, three inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.
