Thanks to a classic banana plastic board, this skateboard legend had the chance to discover skateboarding. Jussi started to try out skating primarily because he had met and made friend with some skaters. He grew up in Finland and spent most of his days skateboarding down the streets and curbs around his community.

A born sports lover, Horrwarth made it a point to continually try various kinds of sports. Prior to skateboarding, Horrwarth’s primary activity was biking. Even now, that remains as his alternative hobby every time he wants to explore Berlin on wheels other than that of his board.

However, his childhood days were spent in Philadelphia. Josh first tried skateboarding when he was thirteen in 1989. Successful with his first attempt to ride the board, Josh realized that skateboarding was something he could definitely excel at. And so, he spent most of his life trying to be the best at his favorite sport.

He has started skating since he was ten and the moment he tried doing it, he knew that skating will be his lifetime hobby. Despite being a below-the-knee amputee, that didn’t stop him for being good at his sport. Instead, he has used the condition as a supreme motivation to keep on going.

Basically, Muldoon is a newbie in the realm of professional skateboarding. He has indulged in the sport in his teenage years and he has adapted skateboarding as a prime hobby.
JJ Mace

Unlike other pro skaters which were born in places teeming with major attractions like parks, arcades, clubs and other entertainment areas, JJ hails from a place that boasts of beaches and shores. JJ is from Ewa Beach in Hawaii.
Jesse Paez

This guy was born in Santa Monica, California, on December 14, 1975. At the age of fifteen, he started skateboarding with his younger brother, Richard. For Paez, skateboarding was a simple spur of the moment activity that eventually turned into a major hobby that he and his brother shares. Skateboarding also became a family affair for the Paez. Eventually, he also shares the lifetime hobby with his son, Ethan.

At a towering height of six feet, he could be much of a basketball player but he eventually became more inclined with skateboarding as he grew up in State College, PA.

Jay was born in Toronto, Canada on October 16 of the year 1971. He grew up in a very diverse community that otherwise demanded people to put challenge in their lives. In an attempt to amuse himself and ultimately find something that he can be good at, Jay tried skateboarding. The moment he attempted to make skateboarding a hobby, it seemed that Jay found his perfect niche where he can shine and be known.
Jarret Berry

In his early years as a young kid, skateboarding was not in the list of his day to day activities. Rather, it was one of the hobbies that most kids in his neighborhood were very fond of. Perhaps due to curiosity, Jarrett decided to give skateboards a try, and then there it was – he finally found his perfect match.

He is from Sydney, Australia and he has been skating since 1988. Because of his overall success as a skater, he was able to attract a lot of sponsorship from major sports companies and other related industries. Included in his list of major sponsors are LG, Independent, Blind, Monster Energy Drink, Dragon Sunglasses, Krew, Ricta, and Adidas.

At first, Greg grew up to be an ordinary kid who goes to school and does menacing things with his brother Andy. Sadly, his first sports love was not skateboarding. Instead, it was hockey. Greg played hockey for nine years. However, he eventually decided to try out skateboarding when he was 13. A year after he fell for the sport, he started joining competitions. When he turned seventeen, he was already a pro.
Geoff Rowley

At the age of twelve, he first found skateboarding as an exciting hobby which most kids from his school were fond of. Eventually, he tried to get on a board of his own and he liked it. Rowley found the sport as an interesting way to “travel and mess around”.
Rowley started skating in 1989. The year after, he took skateboarding a little bit more seriously as he started to participate and win in many competitions. In such a short time, he found a way to learn new tricks and eventually improve his skills.
Gary Collins

Basically, he is one of the fun-loving and easy going skateboarders who hail from Cincinnati, Ohio. Collins discovered the art of skateboarding while spending time of his friends and literally “messing around”. In his quest to find the perfect hobby that can possibly amuse him for the rest of his teenage life, Collins decided to try skateboarding. From then on, skateboarding became more than just a hobby. Collins treated the sport as his career.
