Mathias Ringstrom is a professional skateboarder who was born on the 23rd of October in the year 1976. In the professional skateboarding circuit he is also known as the Swedish Meatball- a nickname which comes from his place of origin: Stockholm in the country of Sweden.

Ringstrom stands at five feet, ten inches and weighs a solid hundred sixty pounds. He currently resides at Encitas in the state of California. He is both a professional skateboarder and a businessman- he is part owner of a store called the RDS Skateshop.

As of today, he remains unmarried. He has been participating as an amateur skater since the year 1986, and joined the professional circuit as a competitor in the year 1994.

Perhaps the most memorable thing about Mathias Ringstrom are his injuries: out of the nine years that he had been competing as a professional skateboarder in the international circuit, he spent five of these precious years recovering from several self-inflicted injuries in tournaments and during training.

Ringstrom is considered one of the more lethal competitors in the vert discipline and is considered as the standard when it comes to certain styles and techniques in skating. However, his risky approach to the sport has garnered him not only recognition, but many painful injuries as well.

Because of his injuries, his over-all ranking in international tournaments has wavered through the past years, however, as critics have already emphasized, these rankings do not necessarily tell what kind of talent this man has. He is a recognizable master of the Vert discipline, and has proven himself through the years as a consistent pro skater who is bent on developing his potential to its very limit.
