Paul Rodriguez, or more formally Paul Rodriguez, Jr. is the son of actor/comedian Paul Rodriguez. He was born on the 31st of December in the year 1984 in Chatsworth in the state of California, USA.

Rodriguez stands at a five feet, seven inches and weighs a solid one hundred and fifty pounds. His moniker in the professional skateboarding circuit is P-Rod. Rodriguez began his passion with skateboarding at the young age of twelve, while still attending formal schooling at Chatsworth. His first attempt at formal skateboarding was with V. Skate and Surf as a team skater.

After his short stint as a team skater, he went on to join the team City Stars and eventually found himself sponsored by DNA, a seller and distributor of skateboards. After that, he finally turned professional.

Paul uses the so-called “goofy” stance while skateboarding, wowing the crowd with his ability to make difficult tricks look relatively easy to pull off. His first formal appearance as a competitor in the professional skateboarding circuit was in the year 2001. In his first appearance in S.C.J. he garnered an unprecedented first place.

Rodriguez has also garnered a series of wins in the other competitions he has joined, including the X Games. In the year 2004, he was able to rank first in the discipline of his choice, street skating and was able to make that happen once again the next year. Two gold medals in two straight years is enough to rattle skeptics and make believers out of them.

Because of his achievements, Rodriguez received a professionally modeled shoe from the multinational company Nike.
