Ryan Johnson, or simply R.J., has been involved in skating since 1986. His skills with a skateboard extend to skate courses to the street. He also loves skating pools and he says that he can skate on practically any type of environment. Aside from his skating abilities, Ryan wants to be remembered for his optimistic attitude. He is currently working on establishing a nonprofit organization that benefits children.

The highlights of his career include a third place ranking at the year-end Euro ranking of World Cup Skateboarding. During the 2000 Globe Shoes World Cup held in Germany, he won second place in the Street category. He placed fifth in the Street discipline of the 2000 Gravity Games in Providence. In 2001, he competed at the Mystic Skate Cup and landed on seventh place in the Street category.

Ryan Johnson was born on January 30, 1979 in Wiesbaden, Germany but he lives in Fresno, California. He stands five feet, six inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. Aside from skateboarding, Johnson also enjoys surfing, snowboarding and playing paintball.
